Macquarie's upgrade of Jubilant FoodWorks comes despite the brokerage flagging continued earnings volatility for the company. It expects factors such as the performance of Domino's Turkey and the pace of recovery in India like-for-like growth to influence the company's earnings trajectory.

Under the stock split, each existing equity share with a face value of Rs 10 will be divided into five shares of Rs 2 each. The move is aimed at improving liquidity in the stock and making the shares more affordable for retail investors.

The major orders include communication equipment, radar, avionics, tank subsystems, electro-optics, cybersecurity, perimeter security, medical electronics, EVMs, jammers, batteries, spares and services, among others.

According to Zee Business research, Indian equity fundraising has crossed the Rs 1 lakh crore mark in 2026 so far, with more than 90 transactions across initial public offers (IPOs), offer for sale (OFS) and qualified institutional placements (QIPs).

In a conversation with Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi, Mukherjea said the recent earnings recovery, reasonable valuations in quality companies and improving prospects for select sectors could support the next leg of the market.
