While May has been unusually chilly so far, it has proven to be a blessing in disguise, at least in one way.

The rain could be heavy at times, especially after midnight and before daybreak on Saturday.
Steadier rain has tapered off to just occasional showers, and there will be lots of dry time as we head into this afternoon!
Showers will redevelop this afternoon ahead of a cold front, although there will still be plenty of dry time during the day.
PITTSBURGH — Watch for dense fog this morning north of Pittsburgh, where visibility could be under a mile. Otherwise, cloudy skies continue along with a few showers still along and south of the Mason-Dixon line.
