Recently, I have started playing a lot of deck-building games, like the popular Slay the Spire. This style of game requires a lot more strategy than I originally expected, but at the same time, it is a very addictive title to play! Elemental Exiles is an RPG deck-building roguelike title that looks very similar to Slay the Spire

Parking Garage Rally Circuit is very different from other racing titles that I have previously challenged. There is no story here, your concentration is on racing, and not even against other vehicles! you are instead focusing on your own personal best track time, and racing against your ghost from your previous best run to get a time that will earn you the bronze, silver, or gold medal to advance.

The Five Nights At Freddy ’s videogame series has you playing as a night guard or other characters as they attempt to survive the night from the murderous animatronic characters attacking. A night lasts from midnight to 6 a.m, but this isn’t for only one “night”, the trick is you have to stay alive for five nights. Each title takes place in locations connected to a pizza restaurant franchise called “Freddy Fazbear's Pizza”.

I never would have guessed that I would be checking out a game called Squirrel with a Gun.

Pick up your Joy-cons and get ready to head to the court to play some shuttlecock with your friends in Badminton Time! I am a big fan of other motion sports titles on Nintendo consoles like Wii Sports and more recently Switch Sports, the tennis games are some of my favourite to play. I know that badminton isn’t exactly the same, but it’s similar, and to me, it feels like a slower version of the high-speed tennis matches that you could have.

Crypt Custodian is a top-down adventure title that plays like a metroidvania, created by Kyle Thompson. Before we jump into the game, we have to make a few choices, like how challenging you want your journey to be. The Difficulty Mode selection changes the speed of the enemy and boss reaction times and attack patterns; it also affects how much time you are allowed in timed challenges. If you find it too hard or easy, you can change this at any time from the pause menu. The game also allows you to turn on a mini-map to give you an idea of where you are going and where important locations, like save points, are situated. With everything set, we are ready to dive into the game or, more accurately, fall into Crypt Custodian.

GoobnBalloonsDX is a bright and colourful twin-stick shooter that has you trying to save your home planet, Goobstar, by defeating waves of invading balloons, on your own, or co-op. In the start the only mode available to play is Goob Odyssey, this is the game’s story mode, but once you complete the first stage, which is essentially a tutorial, the Arcade Mode will be unlocked for you to try out on the main menu.

Be prepared to be launched right into the G.I. JOE animated series from the ‘80s as soon as you start playing G.I. JOE: Wrath of Cobra. Developed by Maple Powered Games, you will take on the role of one of the heroes straight from the series as you fight against the forces of COBRA, who are up to their old tricks trying to take over the world in this beat ‘em up title that feels like it’s come right from the arcade.

In the first entry in this series, I challenged a couple of the boss stages in Mega Man 3 and finally found success against Hard Man. Now that we have his weapon, Hard Knuckle, which of the Robot Masters will I challenge next?
