RAIN couldn't keep the punters away as Marnoo lit up for the Victorian State Merino Field Day last Wednesday.

ST ARNAUD Football Club's Jarryd Kell, Kurt Torney and Austin Lowe carved up at the North Central Football League's awards night of nights over the weekend, taking home Reserves leading goal kicker, Best and Fairest and Under 17s Best and Fairest and leading goal kicker respectively. Finn Evans also came home as the leading goal kicker for the Under 14s competition.

“They're just so beautiful. When Judith's sons Owen and Roger got in touch, we knew we needed to honour her in the way she would have wanted,” principal Melissa Mitchell said.

They marked the occasion with maths and building activities, a presentation of certificates and little gifts and even a themed decorated cupcake or two.
