This Half Term there is a new addition to Wookey Hole's line up of legends, which includes King Kong, a valley full of dinosaurs and of course, the Witch.
Image Body The condo area where I live in Zanesville, Ohio, has a sign at the two entrances that it is a private drive and NO through traffic. It is a safe area where we have privacy, good walking, and a community building that we can rent where there are also condo activities. We get our mail delivered to a roofed area. My companion cat Dinah loves being on the porch and getting visited by chipmunks, squirrels, cats and walkers.
Image Body This week in Zanesville, Ohio, the temperature will be in the 90's reminding me when I lived in Texas. When my husband Larry and I moved from Ohio to San Saba in 2006 to be closer to mission work in Mexico, we had to adjust to high temperatures. So now the high temperatures remind me of precious memories.
Just a question, how should the taxpayers' money be spent? Should the taxpayers' money be spent for the best interest of the public? The public school system was founded on the concept of educating all children. An educated republic provides for a strong nation, productive, prosperous, and free. When the public is not educated, there is deuteriation of the country, lawlessness, crime, and poverty, etc.

Image Body My husband Larry (died 2020) and I knew that we needed to move to Texas to be closer to mission work in Mexico. We sold the little country church, Asbury Chapel, at Hopewell, Ohio, that Larry pastored. By internet, we put an offer on a church for sale in Burnet, Texas, that was rejected. We responded with the full price, but it was taken off the market. A church in San Saba was for sale that we offered the asking price, and we bought it. We knew that San Saba, Texas, was where God wanted us to live.
Image Body How wonderful to talk to Connie Gonzales when she called last week. Connie was young when her family came to Ohio from Mexico to work in fields and pick crops. She has good memories of working with her nine sisters and three brothers and going to the movies after working. Oh how great it is to share our lives and focus on the good times!
Image Body What a relief in the temperature this morning, Monday July 22, in Zanesville, Ohio, at 73 degrees. The hot weather has not euected me since I moved from Ohio, in 2006 to San Saba, and hotter in San Fernando, Mexico, for mission work. The hot temperatures have been described as 'hotter than a fire cracker,''hot as a fried egg' and 'hotter than hell.'I have seen a hot firecracker and an egg, but I don't want to see how hot hell is! The Presidential election is 'heating up,'but this column will not go into politics.
