Saltwater fishing remains steady in the Monterey Bay region, hampered only by some high winds and a big swell that hit the coast this week. Salmon, rockfish, lingcod, halibut and bonito were all on the menu for local anglers.

Lake Kaweah - CA (Tulare County) Kaweah filled to 95 percent of its storage capacity, and anglers reported a good finesse bite for spawning bass. Drop shot

We had more “wide open” striped bass action today as both boats checked in with full limits for all aboard. Both boats also had a hand full of halibut.
