One of the more anticipated LEGO Ideas sets for this year was The X-Files (21369) which just released at the beginning of the month. The set has 1,278 pieces and retails for $199.99.

Target currently has the LEGO Ideas The Evolution of STEM (21355) on sale for 43% off the regular price. This effectively drops the price of the set down to only $45.99 and it saves you $34 on it. The set was released back in 2025 and it features historic innovations from the past that bursts out of a book. It also has minifigures of Marie Curie, Sir Isaac Newton, and George Washington Carver.

We haven’t talked about LEGO Monkie Kid in over a year and a half since the 2025 sets were released. After that there was literally no news on the theme and everybody pretty much thought it was discontinued. That is until a few hours ago when LEGO uploaded a new episode of LEGO Monkie Kid on YouTube. This new series tells the story after the Demon Bull King’s defeat while Monkie Kid still learning to control his powers. There are still 10 LEGO Monkie Kid sets available on the LEGO Shop but aren’t ready to be retired yet.

This September, LEGO will be releasing another Collectible Minifigures series and this wave will focus entirely on the Shrek Series (71053). This set is part of the new LEGO Shrek sets that LEGO has released this year.

Amazon currently has a coupon deal going on for the LEGO Animal Crossing Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun (77057) where you can save almost $38 on it. I’ve seen different amounts on the coupon but it drops the price of the set down to about $50 and change. The set has already sold out on the LEGO Shop so it is basically a retired set at a discount.

If you have some free time this coming Sunday, LEGO Brand stores will be holding a Make & Take event for the LEGO One Piece Human-Human Fruit. The event will be on August 23 from 12pm-2pm on a first come, first served basis. The Human-Human Fruit aka Hito Hito no Mi is Tony Tony Chopper’s fruit when he transforms into a human reindeer.

Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars UCS AT-ST Walker (75417) on sale for 13% off and there’s a coupon that you can clip for an additional discount. It is listed for $173.66 which saves you 13% and there’s coupon on the product page to get an additional $10 off. This is roughly about an 18% savings on the set.

September is right around the corner and it’ll be a unusually large month for new LEGO releases on the LEGO Shop. With so many new sets coming out next month, I feel that there is something for everybody.

The next LEGO One Piece set we’re checking out for season 2 of the Netflix show is Dorry vs. Brogy – Giants of Little Garden (75644). The set has 733 pieces and retails for $79.99.
