It is not the cycle route I would have liked to see, but as a cyclist I do find it is much safer for me - and there are more cyclists using it than I have seen on Manchester Road in the past. As we try to get people to use cars less (save money and pollution) it is a positive way forward. Bring on the 20mph in residential streets too and divert cars to the bypass as designed......
