I spend winters in Florida and Tampa International Airport (TPA) is one of my favorites in the US. The airport found itself at the center of an unexpected footwear debate after a tongue-in-cheek social media post about Crocs quickly went viral.

Chase is making changes to who can access its growing network of Sapphire Lounges by The Club with new rules taking effect August 15th. While everyone might not find this good news, I'm happy to see Chase begin restricting Priority Pass access as the lounges have been pretty crowded lately (even if these memberships were prioritized behind Chase cardmembers in the past).

This is generally the corn off-the-cob version of elotes and is served with Cotija Cheese and not on a bed of kale. I hate kale, so this was not a good choice for me. While the dish traditionally is almost all corn, someone must have been counting the kernels in the catering facility because this one included about 15 on the plate.

With flight attendants striking, the airline has been forced to suspend most of its mainline operations during one of Canada's busiest summer travel periods.

Back in March, I wrote about the disappearance of an American Airlines flight attendant named Eric Fernando Gutierrez in Medellín, Colombia. His body was found nearly a week after he failed to report for duty on a return flight to Miami International Airport (MIA). Now, three people arrested in connection with his death could eventually be prosecuted in the United States, according to Colombian officials, in addition to facing criminal proceedings in Colombia.

Back in April, I wrote about how the United States was preparing to issue a limited-edition passport to commemorate the country's 250th anniversary. The design launched in July and includes imagery tied to American history and the likeness of President Donald Trump . These were supposed to be issued on a limited basis and only out of Washington DC. Apparently, interest was “overwhelming” and the agency is now making 250,000 more available.
