Power Public Schools Superintendent Nichole Pieper discussed maintenance director Bryce Firsick’s boiler training and the first District 10C middle school track and field meet at the May 11 meeting. Student Council President Kinlie Neuman also presented the results of the Student Council elections in April and discussed homecoming plans.

The Fairfield High School girls tennis team placed second at the Northcentral B/C Divisional Tournament on May 22 and 23 in Cut Bank. The Choteau High School girls tennis team tied for third place with Simms, and the boys team finished fourth. The top-five girls and top-four boys singles placers qualified for the Class B/C State Tournament on May 28-30 in Missoula, and the top-four girls and top-three boys doubles teams qualified.

The Choteau High School and Fairfield High School track and field teams competed at the Northern B Divisional meet on May 22 and 23 in Glasgow while Power-Dutton/Brady competed at the Northern C Divisional meet at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls on May 20 and 21. The top-six placers in each event at both meets advanced to the Class B and Class C State meets.

Choteau High School and Fairfield High School golfers competed at the Class B State meet on May 19 and 20 at the Lake Hills Golf Club in Billings while Power-Dutton/Brady competed at the Marias Valley Golf and Country Club in Shelby at the Class C State meet.

The Conrad/Choteau High School softball team ended its season at the Eastern B/C Divisional Tournament on May 21 and 22 in Billings.

Dutton/Brady Public Schools honored its six seniors and seven eighth graders at the annual commencement ceremony on May 23 in the high school gym.

The Choteau High School and Fairfield High School track and field teams competed at the Class B State meet on May 29 and 30 in Missoula while the Power-Dutton/Brady High School teams competed at the Class C State meet in Laurel. CHS athletes Kesston Thomas, Rusch Yeager and Natalie Hodgskiss and Power-Dutton/Brady’s Tanner Vick were crowned state champions in their respective events.

The Choteau High School and Fairfield High School tennis teams competed at the Class B State Tournament on May 28-30 at the Fort Missoula tennis courts in Missoula.
