BROOKSVILLE – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis awarded Pasco-Hernando State College with a $3 million check at a press conference in Brooksville on June 10. The magnanimous amount, which was raised through the state's job growth grant fund, will support the launch of the college's new Airframe and Power Plant program at Brooksville-Tampa Regional Airport on Flight Path Drive. “I think this a very important award and I think it is going to do well for a lot of students and it will help businesses develop the workforce that we need and it will ultimately be beneficial for the economy, not just in this region but throughout the state of Florida,” said DeSantis.
