KYOTO – Nintendo's June Direct presentation has come and gone, and with it came the bombshell announcement of a remake of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time that is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The revelation would have likely been a bigger shock had certain leakers not spoiled the surprise but, nonetheless, the Big N unveiled the return of the all-time classic on Tuesday. The remake's YouTube video description called it “a legend, reborn,” but what does this rebirth entail? Will it be more in line with the recent “open air” titles like Breath of the Wild or will it be more faithful to the original with minor tweaks and additions?

BROOKSVILLE – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis awarded Pasco-Hernando State College with a $3 million check at a press conference in Brooksville on June 10.
