Quantum physics explains the behavior of matter and energy at the atomic and subatomic levels, forming the foundation for modern technologies. However, it is often regarded as strange and intriguing, making it challenging to teach beginners. Board games have been used as educational and research tools in various fields, promoting critical thinking and collaboration. Quantum Tic-Tac-Toe is an early attempt to create a game for teaching quantum physics. However, it is difficult to build physically due to the concept of "cyclic entanglement". The objective of this project is to create a hands-on board game that facilitates the teaching and learning of quantum physics without requiring advanced knowledge of mathematics or physics. Qunnect 4, a quantum version of Connect 4, is designed to illustrate the counterintuitive nature of quantum phenomena and demonstrate key quantum concepts. Each token represents a quantum particle. A token can exist in a superposition of both blue and red colors and collapse into a single color after measurement. Tokens are paired to simulate entanglement. The game has been implemented in two formats: a physical apparatus using simple electronic components, and a web application built with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. It bridges the "spooky" realm of quantum physics with the classical world, offering a straightforward and interactive hands-on experience. This makes it both easy to learn and fun to play, while also providing a practical tool to explore advanced quantum theories.
