The selection is being exhibited there while Kykuit is closed for renovations. The sweeping set of laws aims to “protect New Yorkers against aggressive federal immigration enforcement.” The laws prevent local governments from entering into agreements, called 287(g) agreements, that allow local police and corrections from being used for the purpose of civil immigration enforcement.
