It’s likely going to rain Saturday morning. We have a few more rounds of early rain Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. But there is no jumbo soaking rain out there hiding for Minnesota.

Shorts, sunscreen, sunglasses. That’s the plan for Friday's weather at the Great Minnesota Get-Together. There’ll be a little less humidity but still hot, easily 90 degrees by the afternoon. On Saturday, fairgoers may see some rain.

We’ll have an initial band of rain just to the south of Minnesota on Tuesday morning. While we won’t get the rain, we will get the cloud deck.

We could have some severe weather around the Interstate 90 corridor early Wednesday, then a few more scattered shower chances the next several nights. But what about some tropical moisture to help burst our drought?

High winds will move across southern Minnesota early Wednesday, likely including the Minnesota State Fair. After that, we have a quiet day with comfortable temperatures and humidity plus increasing sunshine.

Thursday brings hot, humid conditions near 90 degrees with scattered midday showers and increasing cloud cover later in the day.
