Look… I pride myself on being a very smart movie watcher. I think when a director has a point to make, I’m pretty astute. I can pick up what he/she is putting down, and can normally put myself in the shoes of the characters in the film.
Let me start this off by saying, I recognize how ridiculous this statement is going to sound, but I really was expecting something great out of this sequel.
I’ll be real with you– this isn’t the kind of movie that I would see if I weren’t involved in this podcast.
