Lenovo is not marketing its ThinkPad X9-15p Gen 1 Aura Edition with its repairability front and center, but in our review, we found out that this Lenovo laptop is actually very modular.

We recently reviewed the Lenovo ThinkPad X9-15p Gen 1 Aura Edition, a 15.3-inch laptop with Intel Panther Lake and an OLED screen. In our testing, we put the Lenovo laptop through the paces, testing the battery life with dark mode, light mode and different refresh rates.

Lenovo upgraded the ThinkPad X9-15 to the Lenovo ThinkPad X9-15p, making this 15.3-inch business laptop much more powerful and versatile. While the older version was clearly aimed at the MacBook Air 15, this new one is more like a MacBook Pro 15 - a model that does not exist.

Lenovo has two almost identical looking 15.3-inch ThinkPads: The Lenovo ThinkPad X9-15 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X9-15p. While they almost look identical, there is a clear winner here - though the price may convince you to pick the lesser model all the same.
