So, I had to take Badger in for his vaccines and annual checkup today. Taking Badger to the vet isn't as bad as taking Pete , but it still sucks because the dogs hate it, and misery loves company.

We played hooky today to see if we could spot some endangered Florida Scrub-Jays at a nature preserve in Central Florida. It's not a great time to be outside since it is very hot this week, even by our standards, but I've been meaning to find them again since previous sightings (years ago) were very fleeting.
