The Baldwin County Board of Education recently adopted a tentative operating budget for Fiscal Year 2027, topping out at $56 million. The proposed new budget shows a decrease of $1.9 million from the FY 2026 budget.

A Baldwin County man was recently indicted a second time by a grand jury related to child molestation charges, The Union-Recorder has learned.

Two Milledgeville men were arrested May 30 on drug charges, local authorities say.
