Doubters can see for themselves at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the final JazzIN Columbus series free concert at Ovation Plaza (with the colorful Ovation Technology Group artwork) on the east end of Fourth Street in downtown Columbus. Pavel & Direct Contact, which sold out a show May 31 at the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic’s Jazz at Helen’s series, will perform for 90 minutes as part of the summer schedule sponsored by the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation and The Columbus Museum of Art & Design, with support from the Office of Downtown Development.

It seems so very much like Cameron Fathauer to turn the anniversary of a near-death experience into a celebration of literally writing a new chapter in his life.
Perhaps one could consider this an ideal little warm-up of sorts for a certain gargantuan November Indianapolis concert dates — besides enjoying a daylong family event in downtown Columbus.
The 2025 21st Annual Columbus Ganesh Festival will expand to a full week and include more activities than before, according to organizers.
