DAYTON — An area of low pressure will set up across the central part of the country over the next two days. This low will mature and slide eastward. The placement of the low will determine the amount of rain we receive here in the Miami Valley.

DAYTON — An area of low pressure is continuing to get its act together out to our west today. We'll notice the cloud cover increase throughout the day, but remain dry until late and into the overnight hours. Even at that point, rain and storms will be scattered in nature.

DAYTON — An area of low pressure is on track to move right over the Miami Valley this afternoon and evening. Rain will come in waves. The first round moves through this morning. Everything at this point will be sub-severe. Heavy rains and the occational rumble of thunder will be the biggest conern at this point.

The Storm Center 7 weather team had been calling for the possiblity of brief tornadoes Saturday as an area of low pressure was developing to our west.

Wind direction has pulled out of the north allowing for the cooler and drier airmass to linger. This is about to change. Winds will shift to the southeast Thursday and hold with a southerly component through the weekend. As a result, temperatures will climb to the average of 85 degrees.

DAYTON — An area of low pressure is setting up right over the boarder of the US and Canada. Attached to it, a cold front that will attempt to move through the Miami Valley.
