The Broadway tour of Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” will be performed at the King Center on April 12-13. The musical follows Harold Hill, a traveling salesman who tries to con the people of River City, Iowa, by promising to form a boys’ band, but his plans are foiled when he falls for the town librarian, Marian. The show features well-known songs such as “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Ya Got Trouble,” and “‘Till There Was You.”
