Frost Advisories have been issued north of Green Bay overnight, where widespread frost is expected. Farther south, some patchy frost is possible depending on cloud cover.

Much warmer weather arrives Sunday and Monday, with highs in the 70s to around 80 degrees — a sign of things to come next week.

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer, but it won't feel like it Saturday. A system will move across the area with a few rain showers or sprinkles. Highs will only be in the 50s/60s.

Temperatures will continue to climb on Tuesday. In fact, we could see our first 90-degree day of the year tomorrow. The high has not reached 90 during the month of May since 2022. The record high is 92, and that will be within reach.

A backdoor cold front moved through Northeast Wisconsin this evening. Northeast winds will cool things down quite a bit on Thursday compared to the last 2 days.

Expect a mix of sun and clouds for the final weekend of May, with highs in the 70s. This pleasant weather pattern is expected to continue into June, with the next chance of rain not expected for more than a week.

Gusty northeast winds will cool things down considerably on Saturday as high pressure builds in from Canada. High temperatures will only reach the upper 60s to mid-70s.

As far as weather records are concerned, today marks the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. The normal high is 73 degrees, and most locations were 5–10 degrees above that.
