Witnessing Karen O’s punk rock reverie in 2025 is a truly magical experience. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman has been emoting her way into our hearts for nearly three decades, and despite the volatile nature of the music industry she has managed to do it all with grace. The band’s 2003 debut album, Fever To Tell, felt massive and refreshing and original in its own right. The project spurred “Maps,” arguably the biggest song in the group’s career. It also cemented the New Yorkers as a formidable entity begging to be reckoned with.
