Nebraskans have been waiting for the voter-approved medical cannabis regulations since two pro-pot initiatives passed in November.

There is a million-dollar cannabis tourism question making the rounds right now. Everyone is trying to figure out how to make social consumption lounges profitable enough to stay afloat. Las Vegas lounge Smoke & Mirrors set out with high hopes, only to close its doors just a year later. The business listing marks the closure as temporary, sharing with Las Vegas Weekly that it will pivot to an events rental space to better use its license.

Cannabis has seeped into the mainstream. In turn, there are more products than ever gracing dispensary shelves. This refers to additional strains, gummy flavors, and also product types.

The weed world is filled with celebrity pot products. Famed athletes are the spokespeople for brands, and others issue limited-edition collaborations. The latest comes out of New York, where a RuPaul’s Drag Race star paired up with queer weed brand FLAMER for a Pride Month cannabis special. Many stoner Drag Race fans are familiar with LaGanja Estranja, and more recently, Sasha Colby Kush emerged as a rising star as fellow cannabis drag royalty.

Cannabis brand Wyld sustainability efforts have earned them Pinnacle Member status with The Conservation Alliance.

One of the best ways to prevent cancer is to catch it early. This is only possible by staying up to date with recommended screenings for cancer. Cannabis has been shown to help cancer patients going through chemotherapy, and research into how it may further help patients continues.

One thing is for sure: cannabis consumers are crafty. Many can make a bong out of an apple at the very least, and this ingenuity is mirrored in the innovative cannabis space. There are endless tech-forward devices and ways to enjoy the plant. One might think that the end of the road is near, but researchers are finding even more weird ways that cannabis could be used–and none involve getting high.

There are countless ways to use the cannabis plant. People obviously smoke the flower, craft extracts for dabbing, and infuse cannabinoids into candies and foods. There is also a wide array of creams and balms that are often used to relieve muscle tension and even assist in tattoo aftercare. Among all these well-known goods, there is another less-recognized group of products that is low-key slept on. Not by me, though.
