For the first time in five years, a team other than Germany stood atop the podium in the opening FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ leg in Wellington (USA). The United States was best on home turf Thursday at the Global Dressage Festival , securing the victory in the final ride.

The United States will lead the way in front of a home crowd Thursday as competition kicks off at the FEI World Cup™ Finals in Fort Worth, TX (USA).

Germany delivered on home soil Friday at the Covalliero Dressage Days, securing an assertive victory in the FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ at Hagen a.T.W. (GER), the first Nations Cup event held at the venue.

Called 'an important test' with the World Championships coming up, the home team edged Spain and the US by a good margin.
