A pair of wins have stretched the Northwestern baseball team's winning streak to 10 games as it draws closer and closer to what could be the biggest game of the season early next week.

the Northwestern Lehigh girls lacrosse team was in one of those positions where it really needed a win to get back on track this season. After an opening win, the Lady Tigers had lost seven of their next eight games before facing Parkland (4-8) at Tiger Stadium recently.

After enduring their first three-game losing skid of the season, the Northwestern Lehigh boys lacrosse team has bounced back to pick up a pair of wins as the season starts to wind down.

Maybe Northwestern Lehigh just doesn't like playing on a Sunday. The Lady Tigers met Catasauqua Sunday afternoon at Patriots Park in Allentown and fell to the Rough Riders in a 2-1 extra innings pitcher's duel.

There is no shortage of things to celebrate for the Northwestern Lehigh softball team. Not only did the Lady Tigers beat Wilson 14-7 Friday to stay undefeated in Colonial League play, but recently, pitcher Emma Freeman recorded her 200th strikeout and Sage Toman reached the 100-hit plateau for their careers.

Early in the season, Salisbury High School softball head coach Jane Brennan said that her team would be better late in the season than it was at the start because of all the young players who were not just on the roster, but also getting a lot of playing time.

After a pair of tough losses, the Salisbury High School baseball team righted the ship and won its last two games by identical 14-5 scores, beating Northern Lehigh and Pen Argyl to put the Falcons' league record at 13-2 and their overall record at 16-3 on the season.
