August 2, 2025 By Curtis Chan UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State football team hosted its annual local media day event on Aug. 2 at Beaver Stadium on the University Park campus.

Penn State wrestler Mitchell Mesenbrink was named the winner of the Dan Hodge Trophy, considered the Heisman Trophy for amateur wrestling, on March 30.

Penn State’s Blue-White Practice is set for April 25 and Penn State Athletics has a full slate of activities planned for fans of all ages. This year’s event will feature an open-practice format.

The election process for the 2026 election of trustees by alumni will begin on April 20, when ballots to elect candidates are automatically sent to alumni who have otherwise not opted out of Penn State communications to their email addresses on file with the University. Alumni also have the opportunity to access the ballot at PennStateVotes. Voting runs through May 7.
