Cynthia Barnett is the Director of Climate and Environment Reporting Initiatives. She focuses on climate policy and global warming, drawing from her extensive background as an environment writer and author of four books, including the longlisted National Book Award title, "Rain: A Natural and Cultural History," and her latest work, "The Sound of the Sea: Seashells & the Fate of the Oceans."
