Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Pleasanton

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers and first responders from Pleasanton Fire and EMS work the scene of a major two-vehicle collision on State Highway 97 Friday afternoon. A 2024 Ford F-750, identified as a United Rentals water truck, sits on the shoulder after a 2024 Indian motorcycle attempted to pass it in a no-passing zone and collided with the vehicle. The 50-year-old motorcyclist was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in critical condition following the crash.
