Tesla lsat year made its much-awaited entry to the Indian market with the company's Model Y car. Tesla's entry in India before its launch was highly anticipated, but given the price-sensitive market that India is, the Tesla Model Y hasn't been able to capture the market as the brand would have wanted. To make things better, Tesla seems to be gearing up for its second car launch for India with the Tesla Model Y L. The Tesla Model Y L is a 6-seater version of the Model Y and is only available in a few markets. Reports suggest that the Tesla Model Y L will be launched in India on April 22.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its all-new electric sedan, the all new electric C-Class. This marks the first time the iconic Mercedes C-Class has been given an EV treatment, and it is based on the company's MB.EA platform, which this car shares with the GLC EV. The Mercedes-Benz Electric C-Class has been unveiled with a 94kWh battery which is claimed to offer a range of up to 762 kilometers.

Tesla has launched its second car in India, the Tesla Model Y L. The new Tesla Model Y L is basically an extended long wheelbase version of the Tesla Model Y and comes with three-row seating that has a 2+2+2 seat layout. The Model Y L also brings the first dual-motor AWD Tesla Model Y variant and has an WLTP claimed range of 681 kilometers. The new Tesla Model Y L has been launched at a price of ₹61.99 lakh for the sole long wheelbase AWD variant, which offers 681 kilometers of range. To recap, the starting price of the Tesla Model Y is ₹59.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant with 500 kilometers of range, and goes up to ₹67.89 lakh for the top-end Long Range Premium RWD variant that offers 661 kilometers range. Strange how the long wheelbase AWD variant of the Tesla Model Y offers more range than the Long Range variant.

BYD has unveiled the next generation of its popular electric SUV, the BYD Atto 3 at the Beijing Auto Show 2026. The new BYD Atto 3 comes with many updates across the board.
