WEYBRIDGE, Vt. (WCAX) - Weybridge's rolling hills and beautiful pastures make it a perfect spot to preserve a piece of Vermont history — the Morgan horse. As Darren Perron reports in this Week's “Vermont's Own,” the town of just over 800 people is located in Addison County and was chartered in 1761. Two people buried there are LGBTQ pioneers — the first documented lesbian couple in the country, Charity Bryant and Sylvia Drake. It's also home to the UVM Morgan Horse Farm, the oldest Morgan horse breeding program in the world.
