Weaverville – Weaverville recognized the contribution of its 75-year-old club, the Lion’s Club, at the April meeting of the town council. Lion’s Club leaders Dr. Woody Bolinger (center) and Rick Johnson (right), along with other club members, were there as Mayor Patrick Fitzsimmons (left) presented Johnson and Bolinger with the proclamation acknowledging the club’s contributions.
