Ludacris has notified the National Cherry Festival, that due to a scheduling conflict he has to cancel his appearance at the festival in Traverse City.

The County of Macomb Enforcement Team, or COMET, was investigating a known felon for possibly selling the drugs. They traced it back to a house in Detroit, and raided it on June 30.

Investigators said a semi-truck was stopped on the highway due to flooding, when another vehicle slammed into it, killing three occupants.

At about 4:15 p.m. July 3, officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire exchanged between two moving vehicles. Upon arrival and during the initial investigation, officers successfully located the vehicles involved. At this time, no injuries have been sustained by any of the parties involved or by bystanders.

Police were called to the area of Court and Clemens Streets in Mount Clemens at about 11:11 p.m. last night. When they arrived, officers found three adults and two juveniles with apparent gunshot wounds. All five were taken to area hospitals.
