The Bangor Police Department has arrested a suspect, 34-year-old Alexander Justice of Bangor, on charges of criminal mischief and criminal attempt for burglary of a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.

BANGOR — The local group working to buy the Bangor Mall has big plans for the property.

Over the years, the library has begun to fill a new role in the community by serving as a gathering space: “The library is one of the last spaces that can be a third space where we’re not asking people to come in and spend money to be here."
