“I think businesses that are doing that kind of thing — seeing AI as a wholesale replacement for workers — will probably run into a significant number of problems in the near future,” Flynn said.

A key part of the effort has been traveling across the state to speak with students and make them more aware about the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

There will be daily chances for rain or thunderstorms.

Dean Marjorie Jenkins of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences said the building will be a game changer not only for UND, but the state.

There are more than 1,800 students signed up to attend with around 2,600 guests.

During the welcome, UND student affairs leaders talked about all the opportunities students have and gave advice on things to think about ahead of Welcome Weekend.

Lauren Nikki Huddle and Kevin Whaley were both members of the Department of Pathology, where they had allegedly created a hostile work environment.

Director of Student Finance Matt Lukach said the most impactful changes are the Graduate PLUS Loan Program ending, Parent PLUS Loan Program limits and the removal of some loan repayment programs.

Mongeon-Stewart's last day at UND was Wednesday, July 15. She will be taking on the role of chief financial and administrative officer and deputy commissioner for the North Dakota University System.
