A long-running family ski tradition was meant to bring everyone together each winter, but for one woman it slowly turned into something far more exhausting than festive. While everyone else spent the week on the slopes, she often found herself managing young children alone in a non-baby-proofed hotel room, treating the trip less like a vacation and more like nonstop childcare. This year, pregnant with triplets and already overwhelmed, she finally decided to stay home for her own health and safety.
