The community’s annual parade in Romancoke, Saturday morning, beginning at 10:30 a.m. had a “real feel” temperature of 96°, but the heat couldn’t compete with this float. Out of nearly 40 golf carts in the 4th of July parade this “land of the free” float was the most decorated of them all.

WEST FRIENDSHIP, Md. — Queen Anne's County 4-H captured the state horse judging championships in the junior and intermediate divisions following two months of preparation under coach Donnie Potter.
