BNA® is preparing for its busiest travel period of the year—Fall Break. With thousands of passengers expected to pass through the terminal daily, BNA is taking proactive steps to ensure a seamless travel experience for all.

The fall and winter installment of the Flying Solo series at BNA® has officially debuted. The exhibits will remain on display through Jan. 5, 2025.

BNA® proudly wrapped up its 29th annual BNA® Aviation Golf Classic, held Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at Hermitage Golf Course. The tournament welcomed 36 teams and 144 players, bringing together aviation professionals, community leaders and supporters for a day of sport and service—raising funds and awareness for organizations making a meaningful impact.

Chris Saunders, A.A.E., Director, Airline Affairs, Nashville International Airport® (BNA®), has been awarded the distinction of Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

BNA® is preparing for an expected increase in travel activity surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday. While this is not a peak travel period for BNA and record-breaking numbers are not expected, passengers should anticipate higher volumes on key travel days: Nov. 23, Nov. 26 and Nov. 30.

MNAA today announced the promotion of two key leaders whose expertise will help guide the organization’s continued growth and commitment to excellence. Charlotte Weatherington has been named Director of Corporate Communications & Marketing, and Aaron Whitlock has been appointed Director of Parking and Ground Transportation.

Nashville International Airport®, also known as BNA®, is prepared to help travelers enjoy a smooth and stress-free journey this holiday season. The winter holidays are not typically a peak travel period for BNA, with passenger volumes projected to remain below the daily average and no records expected. Even so, the airport is committed to ensuring that every traveler has a seamless experience.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), owner and operator of Nashville International Airport®, also known as BNA®, and John C. Tune Airport®, also known as JWN®, is pleased to announce members of its Board of Commissioners, established under Public Chapter No. 978. In accordance with state law, appointments include: Lieutenant General Dennis D. Cavin (U.S. Army Retired), John Cheadle Jr., Tony Giarratana, Jimmy Granbery, Bobby Joslin and Deputy Governor and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Stuart McWhorter. Three additional Commissioners are awaiting appointments by Freddie O’Connell, mayor of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, and confirmation by Metropolitan Council.

With the first day of school around the corner, the time is approaching to start planning Spring Break 2027 trips and Southwest Airlines® is ready to take Customers to beaches, mountains, and everywhere in between. The carrier’s flight schedule is now available for booking through early April 2027 with record-high departures in Austin and Orlando, along with growth in Nashville and Las Vegas.
