DERBY – A ratings agency no longer has a negative outlook on the city's finances. In a report published April 23, S&P Global Ratings revised Derby's outlook from negative to stable.

DERBY – City officials allegedly allowed a food truck to operate on private property in violation of zoning regulations, creating a neighborhood mess that has spilled over into the city's zoning board of appeals.

DERBY — The Valley Indy spent a few minutes May 20 interviewing some volunteers marking military veterans' graves with U.S. flags in advance of Memorial Day.

ANSONIA-SEYMOUR-SHELTON – A Seymour resident and an Ansonia resident were among four people arrested Wednesday (May 20) for allegedly defrauding the state's Medicaid program.

NEW HAVEN – A 40-year-old man was sentenced May 26 to 29 years in federal prison for a COVID-19 era gas station robbery spree, including one in Ansonia.
