Detectives investigating the attempted murder of a police officer in Downpatrick have been granted a court extension.

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of an arson incident at house in the Carrickasticken Road area of Forkhill in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 3rd June.
