The 3-point shooting contest was held Friday, won for the first time by a rookie – Azzi Fudd – but the competition continued on Saturday at the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago's United Center. Fittingly, it was Caitlin Clark who lit the fuse, hitting the first three from very long distance and the United Center air was subsequently filled with deep shot attempts. Clark scored 17 points and was one of eight players on Team Spoon to finish in double figures for a 129-122 victory over Team Coop.

Remember the name. Chicago's Sydney Taylor is going to be the next big thing in the WNBA. The undrafted rookie cooly drilled the game-winning 3-pointer with less than one second to play to complete an unlikely comeback and lift the Sky to a heartstopping 84-83 victory over visiting Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon at Wintrust Arena.

The Phoenix Mercury aren't ready to give up just yet. Despite a 4-12 start, the Mercury have been turning things around lately.

The Chicago Sky had no choice but to share the basketball on Wednesday night at Wintrust Arena against the visiting Los Angeles Sparks. Their leading scorer, Sydney Taylor sat out with a left groin injury and there really was no single go-to player to rely on.

Natasha Cloud pumped in a career-high 35 points to lead the Chicago Sky to a 93-86 victory over a New York Liberty team that played the bulk of the contest without star center Jonquel Jones, who left the game in the first quarter with a left ankle injury and did not return. Jones, a critical component to the Liberty's playoff aspirations, watched the remainder of the game from the bench. The injury did not appear serious.

Just imagine for a moment where the Chicago Sky would be right now if Sydney Taylor had started every game for them this season.

They hit on all cylinders Sunday night in a 113-90 victory over hosting Chicago. And that was without all-star center Aliyah Boston, who was resting a sore shoulder on this back-to-back road game.

Big 12 member UCF collected a record-breaking 73-6 home victory in its 2026 season opener on Thursday in front of 43,127 at the Acrisure Bounce House. Visiting SWAC opponent Bethune Cookman collected a paycheck.
