Suffolk Police are investigating the possibility that the man found dead in an East Shoreham swimming pool Sunday is a suspect in a November homicide, law enforcement sources told Newsday.

The Pal Court homeowner, a veteran Suffolk police detective who serves on the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, was opening his swimming pool for the season with his teenage son when they found the well-preserved body in the water, sources said.
