New York may be one of the first states in the nation to pass a one-year moratorium on the permitting of data centers 20 megawatts or larger, pending Gov. Kathy Hochul's signature.

WhistlePig Whiskey sold its complex of spirit aging warehouses in the Moriah Business Park in March for $17,062,500, records show.

In order to accommodate a growing student body, Champlain Valley Educational Services in Moriah will build a new 39-acre campus about a half mile from its existing complex on Plank Road.
