Children forced to work in MESEMs, industry, and fields are facing greater risks with each passing day. The conditions described by the ILO as the "worst form of inhumane work" have been turned into a standard in Türkiye.

The country’s progressive, revolutionary and democratic forces have issued a call to “stand side by side on the path to a united opposition” against the regime that is dragging the country into disaster in its bid to remain in power. The call stated: “We are taking responsibility and marching forward together with everyone who feels this need!”

There is no real value in winning the approval of an organisation that acts as a US-led military force, has dark chapters in the country’s history, and poses a threat to our neighbours, particularly Iran. What we must do is give serious thought to how a new security architecture, founded on peace, disarmament and cooperation, can be built.
