Apple's first major price increase since the start of the DRAM crisis is here. At the Apple Store, prices now start at up to $249 for an Apple TV 4K, $799 for a MacBook Neo, and at least $2,999 for a 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The Apple MacBook Ultra will either be released with the older Apple M5 Max, or its launch will be significantly delayed. This is because Apple is said to have halted development of the Apple M6 Pro and M6 Max in order to focus on the M7 series instead, which is expected to offer significantly stronger AI performance.

Just one day after the price increase, the Apple Store is offering the MacBook Neo as a refurbished model for the first time, but the discount barely offsets the price increase; the budget MacBook is still available at a lower price on the open market.
