The first “A.I.-built” film is coming to theaters in October, with the pioneering ambition of demonstrating how the technology can propel a human-scripted underdog project to the big screen. I spoke with creator Zack London and co-producer Edward Saatchi about how it was made—and whether anyone will see it as “just a movie.”
