People are taking steps to protect themselves from all the smoke sitting over Western Washington. According to experts, the air quality gets worse closer to the Cascades.

A five-year-old girl is dead following a large animal attack in Graham. Deputies shot and killed an aggressive dog that was found near her body, but they do not yet know if it is responsible for her death.

A hunger strike is underway at the ICE facility in Tacoma, according to the activist group La Resistencia.

“His conduct was extremely dangerous to public safety,” a King County prosecutor said of the teen Tuesday.
