Hands of the People: A Creche Festival is an exhibition of contemporary nativities created in two- and three-dimensional art, observing the 800th anniversary of the nativity scene becoming a popular Christmas imagery in homes.

Texas Theatre & Bishop Street Ballet will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds with a special screening featuring a preshow by Bishop Street Ballet.

The Dallas Puppet Theater present A Christmas Carol in conjunction with Theatre Brookhaven at Dallas College, Brookhaven Campus. Featuring student puppeteers, five styles of puppetry, and a live actor, Michael A. Robinson, as Ebeneezer Scrooge, this classic story comes to life as never before.

West of Here Studio will present new works from Haylee Ryan and Leigh Kvetko in their exhibit, "Desertlandia."

Liz Lindström will present her new solo show, "Pieces of Us." The opening reception will feature a meet and greet with the artist, light appetizers and drinks, and an interactive piece of artwork, "Pieces of Our Selfie," for all ages. Limited edition merchandise will include bespoke t-shirts and signed show posters.

At Winter at the Garden, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of the Houston Botanic Garden, sip on hot cocoa, and explore treasures from over 20 local businesses. Guests can shop local growers, discover artisanal honey, handmade jewelry, and more.

Aldrich St. presents its annual Merry & Bright celebration, with activities including a street fair featuring Aldrich Street tenants, live music from the Minor Mishap Marching Band and the McCallum Fine Arts Academy orchestra, a performance from the Northeast Early College High School band, cotton candy and churros from Cloud 9 Cotton Candy, classic holiday movies on a large outdoor screen, and holiday photo opportunities. The annual celebration will round out with the tradition of lighting the Mueller Control Tower for the 18th year in a row.

The Houston Tidelanders perform a cappella barbershop as an ensemble, with a sound characterized by ringing chords, melodic overtones, close harmonies, and more. This show will include a secular first half and religious second half, and will also include some special local guests.

The Cathedral and Austin Camerata will present CelloFest, an evening of classical music, local art, and an open bar.

Lone Star Circus presents Cirque: Spirit Of Christmas, a Cirque-styled Christmas show featuring acrobatics, feats of flexibility, and high-flying stunts. The Broadway-style spectacle centers around Noel, a child dismayed and distressed by the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Trying to recapture her lost love of the season, she is visited by spirits who bring back the true meaning of the season in energetic, dreamlike chapters.
