A man in his late teens died in a car crash in County Tipperary. The incident happened around 3.45am on the L4101 at Lanespark, Ballynonty, near Thurles.

Northern Irish television and radio presenter Gerry Kelly has died at the age of 77. The Ballymena-born broadcaster passed away at his home this morning.
