Ordinance 01-24 is on the ballot being mailed to Estes Park voters in early March. It is a badly flawed concept. The crux of the issue is requiring approval of 60% of property owners within 500-foot radius of a proposed zoning change, zoning map amendment, text change in various sections and subsections of the Development Code, planned unit developments and variances.
